Romans 6:8-10

⁸ Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him, ⁹ knowing that Christ, because he^[a] has been raised from the dead, is going to die no more, death no longer being master over him. ¹⁰ For that death he died, he died to sin once and never again, but that life he lives, he lives to God.
